Quick Start Guide to Voter Registration

Encourage voter registration three ways:

1. Send the link www.servicearizona.com to your email list. Providing the direct link to Arizona’s official voter registration site is a quick, easy way to promote voter registration.
   
   
2. Plan a voter registration drive. Whether at your church, school, neighborhood, or summer get-together, registering voters is easy! Click here for a FREE Voter Registration Kit with what you need to plan a drive. The most important documents in the kit are also available online:

3. Talk to others about voting. We are blessed to live in a nation where we can participate in the government and choose our leaders. Take time to discuss this great privilege and responsibility.

Running a voter registration drive is simple:

• You will need Voter Registration forms, black pens, tables, and volunteers.
  
  
• Before you begin registering voters make sure that you – and any volunteers helping you – read the How To document (especially the legal instructions at the bottom), and the Frequently Asked Questions.
  
  
• Voter Registration forms are available from your County Recorder’s office.
  
  
• If you have wireless internet and laptops, you could also have computers set up opened to www.servicearizona.com. By using computers, people can register immediately online. When they type in their Arizona Driver’s license number, their current info pops up and they can verify and/or update their info. Before starting, have the volunteer test it with their own information so they can see how it works.
  
  
• Mail all completed forms to the County Recorder’s office. Forms must be postmarked by August 4 at midnight to meet the Primary election deadline, or October 6 at midnight to meet the General election deadline. You can mail all of the registrations for the same county in one envelope to that county’s County Recorder’s office.
