On a Plane to D.C.

Early this morning, Concerned Women for America (CWA) President Penny Nance invited me to speak at a Women for Kavanaugh “I Stand with Brett” Rally Thursday on Capitol Hill in Washington, D.C. sponsored by CWA’s Legislative Action Committee. I’ve stood by and watched the process of Judge Kavanaugh’s nomination to the U.S. Supreme Court since the Judge’s nomination by President Trump.

I didn’t hesitate to say, yes, I’ll make the quick trip to Washington.

Before leaving Sky Harbor Airport, I posted this Facebook Live video.

Yes, we all grieve for women who have been abused and assaulted. But I’ve yet to see any evidence to prove these unsubstantiated allegations against someone who has appeared to be by all indications an honorable man.

Judge Kavanaugh’s legal and judicial credentials show him to be one of the most qualified and exemplary candidates to serve on the U.S. Supreme Court.

The confirmation process is out of control. We, as Americans and especially as Arizonans, need to have our voice heard. So off I go!

My message will be:  No more delays. Confirm Judge Kavanaugh now.

Finally, participating with CWA is a special honor for me. From 1987 to 1994, I served as CWA’s Arizona Representative. For two years, I served as CWA’s national board chairman. I remain deeply grateful for my years with CWA.
