Ryan Gaydos from Fox News reports that President Trump signed an executive order protecting women’s sports, fulfilling another campaign promise to keep biological males from competing against females. The signing occurred on National Girls and Women in Sports Day, highlighting the importance of preserving fair competition in athletics. Gaydos states in his story:
“This doesn’t have to be long. It’s all about common sense,” Trump said before signing the order, adding that “women’s sports will be only for women.”
Trump declared, “The war on women’s sports is over.”
The executive order aligns with scientific reality that biological differences between males and females create insurmountable athletic advantages. Studies show men have circulating testosterone levels 15 times higher than women’s upper range, leading to major differences in muscle composition, bone density, and red blood cell count.
Gaydos continues:
White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt said in a briefing before Trump signed the executive order that it “upholds the promise of Title IX.”
“President Trump pledged to restore common sense to our country and he’s continuing to deliver on that with an executive order that he will sign later today,” she added. “The president will be signing an executive order, keeping men out of women’s sports to defend the safety of athletes, protect competitive integrity and uphold the promise of Title IX.
This order provides protections for female athletes who have seen their opportunities, titles, and scholarships stripped away by biological males competing in women’s sports.
The signing ceremony included Riley Gaines and other female athletes who have personally experienced the unfairness of competing against biological males. Their advocacy highlights how ignoring biological reality threatens five decades of achievements in women’s sports.
