In Jesus’ name, we pray, AMEN!
If you’re among the countless Christians deeply concerned about the future of Arizona and our nation, we invite you to join us in a statewide call to prayer, fasting, and repentance from Oct. 3 to Nov. 3, culminating with a united prayer gathering at the Arizona State Capitol.
Hundreds of pastors and Christian leaders are partnering, calling the Church of Arizona to unite in prayer for our nation’s moral condition and the pivotal General Election on November 5. With one voice, we will appeal to our Heavenly Father for His divine intervention regarding issues that shape the destiny of our state and nation.
Our Prayer Focus:
- Repentance and Mercy: Crying out for God’s forgiveness and mercy regarding the moral decline in our nation, asking Him to turn us back to Him and heal our land.
- Godly Leadership: Praying for the election of righteous, God-fearing leaders who will govern with integrity and wisdom.
- Informed Voters: That believers will be informed and guided by biblical principles as they cast their votes.
- Candidates’ Protection: For the safety of all candidates, and that their true positions on key issues will be revealed to voters.
- The Sacredness of Life: Asking God to protect unborn babies and their mothers, especially in voting NO on Prop 139, an extreme abortion measure.
- A Peaceful Election: For peace throughout the election process and protection against violence and unrest in our land.
- Spiritual Awakening: That a wave of revival, awakening, and reformation will sweep across Arizona and the nation, drawing multitudes back to God.
The Lord’s promise in 2 Chronicles 7:14 assures us, “that if we humble ourselves, pray, and turn from our wicked ways, He will hear us from heaven and heal our land.”
Now is the time for Arizona Christians to come together and make an appeal to heaven, trusting that God will shift the course of our state and nation toward godly values.
How You Can Engage:
- Pray alone or with a “prayer cluster”: Dedicate specific times each day, individually or with family, friends, or colleagues (two or more), to pray for the election, our leaders, and a nationwide revival.
- Consider fasting: Whether through a Daniel fast, alternate days, or one meal a day, consider intensifying your prayers with fasting.
- Encourage your congregation: Pastors and church leaders, encourage your congregation to pray and fast for our nation and guide them to understand the critical issues at hand. Consider opening your church at designated times, inviting believers to gather and pray for the nation. Imagine the impact of every church doing this!
